Exciting news from the foodie world in Austin, Texas!  Leroy and Lewis Barbecue, a popular food truck located at Cosmic Coffee and Beer Garden, is opening a brick and mortar in South Austin by the end of 2023. The food truck has gained a ton of popularity over the years and was even featured in Somebody Feed Phil, a Netflix special. The new space will allow the team to offer more specialty items, additional sides and desserts, and a retail space for their package goods and merchandise. I highly recommend checking out this upcoming establishment for delicious food, including their famous beef cheeks and smoked hamburger, as well as vegan options like cauliflower burnt ends. Whether you're a local or visiting Austin, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy some mouth-watering barbecue at Leroy and Lewis.

In this episode I had the pleasure of speaking with my good friend Dr. Matt Delgado, owner of Lifespring Chiropractic, one of, if not The top chiropractic practices in Austin. In our conversation, we'll be discussing a variety of topics related to chiropractic care and overall health, including the common causes of stress, how seeing a therapist has changed his life, He’ll suggest small changes you can make to optimize your health, the benefits of preventative care versus sick care and how being healthy might be WAY less expensive than you might think, why someone might seek chiropractic care, and finally we’ll hear about all of the different symptoms Lifespring Chiropractic treats…which may shock you.

Welcome to this episode of our podcast, where we take you on a culinary adventure through Austin, Texas, and uncover three hidden gem restaurants that you won't want to miss.
Our first stop is Mediterranean Chef Cafe, located in the Brentwood neighborhood. This cozy spot is home to Grandma's Humus, which you can even find at your local HEB. Their menu features mouth-watering dishes like Tabuleh, Falafels, and my personal favorite, Nikki's Special, an open gyro over lettuce with lamb and beef. And don't forget to save room for the Baklava!
Next up, we're heading to Tommy Want Wingy, located at 121 Pickle Road. This spot is a favorite among locals and visitors alike, with tons of outdoor seating and a great location for kids. Their chicken lollipops are a must-try, with a special way of making the wings so every bite is full of meat. And if you're feeling adventurous, try the Holy Schnikes, but be warned, it's not for the faint of heart.
Last but not least, we're visiting T-Locs Sonoran Hot Dogs, located at 5000 Burnet Road. This spot is always bustling with a line of people eager to try their delicious Bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with pinto beans, sauteed onions, diced onions, diced tomatoes, and a variety of sauces. But the real star of the show is their Carne Asada burrito, which many locals claim is the best in Austin.
Whether you're in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine, mouth-watering wings, or a hearty burrito, these hidden gem restaurants have something for everyone. So be sure to share this episode with your friends and family and go out and try them for yourself!
